An interactive presentation on how glass block applications can contribute to LEED points and sustainability, and how new blast andhurricane resistant glass block systems are providing high levels of safety and security.
Participants will learn what LEED points glass block applications can contribute to as well as sustainability contributions that go beyond LEED. They will also learn about government and military requirements for blast and hurricane resistance, and how recent advances in glass block panels and windows that have enabled high levels of safety and security.
The CES facilitator utilizes a PowerPoint presentation and videos to provide an in-depth overview of the information needed to properly design with glass block for commercial, government and military applications. An interactive format encourages questions throughout the presentation.
Electrical power and a screen for the PowerPoint presentation. (The CES facilitator supplies the laptop and projectors.) Web access is desirable but not required.
