All glass blocks are not load bearing. A lentil or header must be used in an opening to support the wall material above the glass block.
Actual size denotes the measurement of the block by itself where as nominal size denotes the block size with a ¼” mortar joint.
Imperial sizing is ¼” smaller than the nominal size listed. Metric size block are actually measured in millimeters and are usually smaller than the Imperial size blocks.
